As a request is sent to the healthcare provider (Medical Centre or Pharmacy registered with ROS) they will send back notifications updating you (customers) on the progress of your request. You will receive notifications on your smartphone app (just like you receive notifications on Facebook when someone comments on you status) and through an email. This service makes life a lot easier because you instantly know if there are any issues with your request and therefore gives you a chance to resolve them promptly. Use this service if you do not want any surprises when you go and pick up your repeats. We suggest you only go to the pharmacy to collect your medicines when you receive a "completed" notification.
